The UMD chapter of Girls Who Code is officially returning this fall for girls in both middle and high school. :
Girls Who Code helps us create a stronger community around girls and women that will empower the next generation to be leaders in technology. The club gives high school and middle school girls the opportunity to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment and exposes our participants to careers in technology.
We will be holding classes on Sundays 1-3pm this semester from September 9th - November 11th at the University of Maryland Computer Science Instructional Center. Our program is entirely free for our students, and girls in 6th through 12th grade are welcome to apply for our program.
